I recommend to run multiple imputation by hand. I have just displayed what the syntax looks like, at the very end of this page. Before running this syntax, make sure that education and grade variables are configured as “scale” and not “nominal” variables.

Otherwise, the imputation won’t work.

If you want to quickly check whether your data is missing monotonously, you can just copy paste the syntax below (but make sure to modify the variable labels according to what you have). SPSS will shoot you a warning message if the missing data is monotone. If we don’t like predictive mean matching method, we could change PMM by LINEAR.
